As the Employment Readiness Program Manager, I lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employment assistance for military personnel and their families at an extra-large installation and its surrounding area. My role involves conducting in-depth qualitative and quantitative assessments, as well as complex survey analyses, to identify and address barriers to effective program planning and implementation.Key responsibilities include:Strategic Coordination: Integrating comprehensive employment improvement initiatives through collaboration with various agencies, while ensuring compliance with DoD and Army policies.Analytical Expertise: Leveraging advanced market trends data analytics and negotiation skills to create job opportunities within the military community.Workshop Development: Designing and facilitating workshops on essential job skills, including federal and civilian resume writing, interview techniques, salary negotiation, and networking.Internship Program Oversight: Recruiting, training, and managing internship program staff to develop long-term workforce training strategies that address identified needs and milestones.
