Experienced entrepreneur, qualified accountant and analytics expert. Throughout my career in both practice and industry I have had a strong desire to utilise technology and strategic thinking in the best possible way to drive efficiencies in processes, procedures and ultimately increase profitability. In 2014, Complete Analytics was formed and was born (formerly Cascade.bi). We provide SMEs with ready made analytics through our Instant Business Intelligence engine. Through our powerful visualisations of all SMEs data in one place, our out of the box, monthly subscription service is straightforward and helps deliver my personal goal of improving BI standards in the SME sector. In 2009, I left Grant Thornton UK LLP to set up Mint Consult; a consultancy business providing CFO / FD services to businesses on a part time basis. This has included many tasks including assisting manufacturing businesses on a weekly basis through to running an IPO process on AIM. Throughout my career Business Intelligence has remained at the core and using technology to improve business reporting via automated processes has helped my clients in the following ways- Regular and routine analysis of product costs, margins and profitability - Enhanced informed decision making processes – having the facts - Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Report on departmental performance - Empower teams and management - Improve controls over cash with improved reporting
