About Medha Bansal
Medha is a dedicated practitioner of computational design and is currently working at Jacobs as Engineer Computational Design- Bridges. She works with Design Automation (DA) team, where she is supporting the ideation and development of several in-house AEC automation tools. She is an Emergent Technologies & Design graduate from Architectural Association (AA) in London. Her final year work investigated the material + design systems and fabrication mechanism for ecologically-adaptive and climate-resilient construction in desertification prone regions. In 2020 She founded Studio Code X- A consultancy service that creates an all-knowing computational brain that facilitates a full design process towards the most optimal built environment. The studio focuses on the application of advanced computational design and fabrication technologies for building climate-conscious design systems. In 2017 she completed her advanced certification from McNeel Europe- Master in Parametric Design from ControlMad Advance Design Center, Madrid. Prior to that she received her Bachelors in Architecture degree from Sushant School of Art and Architecture in India. In her final year at the institute she had served as a research assistant.
