ABOUT MEDHAA CHAKLANABISH

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Infrastructure Design and Management at IIT Kharagpur, after completing my Bachelor’s in Architecture from NIT Bhopal. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in design, planning, and construction, which I continue to build upon through practical experiences. Most recently, I interned at KPMG in the Industrial and Infrastructure Development Advisory (IIDA) vertical, where I worked on two Government and Public Sector (GnPS) projects. This experience deepened my interest in consulting, especially in the areas of public infrastructure and policy implementation. I gained hands-on exposure to project structuring, stakeholder analysis, and data-driven decision-making in complex real-world settings. Prior to that, I interned at Dulal Mukherjee and Associates, where I contributed to the adaptive reuse of the heritage building ‘The Statesman House’ in Kolkata. My responsibilities included preparing detailed working drawings, developing presentations, and conducting site visits to track execution and progress. I have a keen interest in real estate and and am actively seeking opportunities to grow and learn from experienced professionals in these domains. I possess strong communication, proofreading, and presentation skills, which I’ve honed from an early age and applied across both academic and professional contexts. As a curious thinker, I value understanding the why and how behind any problem or solution. I’m open to connecting with professionals in the industry, exploring mentorship opportunities, and learning about potential entry-level roles in real estate and infrastructure consulting. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling.
