About Matthew Czar
I am a freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a double major in Biochemistry and Statistics and Analytics. I am particularly interested in bioactive materials, specifically synthetic grafts, and their applications in the recovery from athletic injuries. Additionally, I am conducting research in the Joint Mathematics and Marine Sciences Fluids Lab, as well as the Applied Engineering lab, where I study the hydrodynamics of swimming to optimize body position in the water for elite athletes. I also row for the UNC Men\'s Rowing team.In the future, I plan to attend medical school to support my goal of researching and practicing orthopedic sports medicine.
