   Senior Research Associate with the WMU Center for School Renewal HIL Project, a model of school renewal that builds school leadership motivation and capacity using Appreciative Inquiry and High Impact Leadership (HIL) Principles. • Serving as senior researcher & evaluator, community partner liaison, design & implementation steering team member, and grant management team member for the Grand Rapids Southeast Promise Neighborhood initiative, a $29.5 million five-year grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education focused on increasing the success of children, youth, and families through school and community partnerships.• Partnering with multi-institution evaluation team to create and implement logic model that aligns with community-based cradle-to-career initiatives and multi-tier data plan for longitudinal data collection and program evaluation.• Partnering with co-researchers on multiple case study research studies, including literature reviews, methods design, data collection & data analysis for various High Impact Leadership for School Renewal (HIL) grant projects, including US Department of Education SEED grant and Grand Rapids Southeast Promise Neighborhood (GRSEPN) grant.• Collaborating throughout the literature review, writing, and publication cycle on topics such as- High Impact Leadership for School Renewal - Appreciative inquiry - Social justice advocacy and anti-racist leadership in PK-20 educational spaces - Culturally responsive/inclusive teaching
