About Luke Meagher

Hello, my name is Luke Meagher, and I am an Accounting and Finance double major studying at the University of Kentucky. My goals are to get my CPA license after graduating in May of 2028 with my Masters in Accountancy,and work in Public Accounting as an Auditor. I love to learn new things everyday whether that\'s in my accounting and finance classes or at work learning from the more seasoned professionals. I believe it is very important to develop my knowledge to become a well rounded individual. Overall, I would describe myself as a hard worker who is willing to learn new methods of success, face difficult challenges and projects, and stay very efficient in the workplace. Of course, I am welcoming to any advice to further my career.

   I utilize Sage Intacct and QuickBooks Online for various Non-Profit clients at Dean Dorton. I am in charge of 8 client’s accounts payable entries utilizing BILL.com and manage accounts receivable for 3 clients. I was also in charge of the preparation of 1099s for various Non-profit clients during December and January. I work under managment to solve various issues that arise with clients.
