The American Battlefield Trust, the largest national battlefield preservation organization in the country, has proudly preserved over acres of hallowed ground. By using strategic planned giving marketing and education and thoughtfully approached donor relationships, I help secure a bright future for Revolutionary War, Civil War, and War of 1812 sites across the country.My personal and professional career has been shaped by service to others and to the places I love. As a native of the Virginia Piedmont, the continued desecration of historic and cultural resources has drawn me to a career in serving local, state, and national historic and environmental preservation outfits. A proponent of all-female education, I am actively involved in alumnae leadership at my all-girls boarding school and women’s college to ensure young women continue to have the same space to grow, excel, and lead, and engage in more localized volunteerism through long-term membership in the Junior League of Washington.
