I jump out of bed with a huge smile on my face each morning because I look forward to helping my clients transform their projects from dream to reality. I partner with them by incorporating strategy, creativity, and good, solid engineering techniques. Industrial, corporate, office, commercial, higher-education; I’ve worked on them all and have discovered the unique nuances of each project type. Bring me a challenge with many moving parts, big company politics, and impossible timelines and I’ll show you a woman rolling up her sleeves to make it happen! I treat my job as more than a career; I’m on a mission to find people who value partnership as much as I do and to build professional, trusting relationships – one conversation at a time. In my role at Dominion Energy, I am able to bring a unique perspective to capital improvement projects. I add value by informing the team about process, schedule, and identifying permitting and construction pitfalls. I’m a civil engineer by choice and by trade, but my skills are far beyond just traditional civil engineering design and permitting. Strategic property disposition? Yes. Thinking long term from an owner’s perspective? Definitely! It’s my dream to be retired, with a pile of grandchildren, and bore them to tears by telling fabulous stories about all the projects I’ve helped create.
