   As Splunk’s Director, Commercial Legal, I steward the closing of technology sales transactions in the US, Canada, and Latin America for the global leader in machine-data monitoring software. I built the department from 5 to 17 cloud attorneys, contract managers, and legal operations professionals, which delivers legal support to a sales field of 500. I am a member of the extended Executive Leadership Team for legal.I serve as the commercial legal stakeholder for global initiatives that drive growth and establish enterprise workflows, with a demonstrated history of building consensus and strong, collaborative, and effective relationships at all levels of an organization, building the dedicated commercial legal operations team responsible for contract lifecycle management and programs globally. I led initiatives that included global agreement intake, integration of negotiation information between CLM and Chief Revenue Officer’s forecasting tools, and major edit of over 85 contractual clauses built into quotes and order contracts utilizing X-Author and CPQ functionality, increasing global transaction velocity and scale. I routinely structure path-to-paper that includes gap analyses of security, privacy and pricing terms to resolve customer paper, and develop effective bridging addenda and agreements in the context of acquisitions.
