About Meagan Maguire

I am a student at the Harbert College of Business at Auburn University seeking a Summer 2023 internship in supply chain management. I am passionate about working with others as a team, problem solving, and customer service. One reason I find supply chain management so interesting is because it is constantly evolving and I find such significance in an industry that is always trying to improve customer satisfaction. Recently, I took the StrengthsQuest assessment to learn about my top 5 skills, and was not surprised to see positivity and harmony listed. I strongly believe that my past work experience has only improved these two skills through my encounters with customers. It is important for me to always have a smile on my face and make myself available to help a customer or client with any help they may have. Whether I am answering phone calls from patients at Physician\'s Center For Beauty, serving 100 snow cones in the matter of 10 minutes at Kona Ice, or quickly bagging groceries at The Fresh Market, I always did my best to remain positive no matter what. Harmony is another skill I have displayed through my past work experience and beyond. As someone who grew up playing sports, I always loved being part of a team and working with others. I believe harmony is an important skill to have in the business world especially in supply chain management where collaborating and communicating with others is imperative for the success of that business. By demonstrating harmony in the work place, tasks can be completed faster, more efficiently, and relationships can be built further. I believe it is extremely important to create a positive and harmonious workplace because it not only affects the employees, but also affects customers\' and clients\' experience and satisfaction. In the supply chain industry, companies work and communicate with others daily and it is necessary to maintain personal and business relationships in order to succeed. I am always excited to meet new people and learn from their unique skill set, while displaying mine as well for others to learn from.
