ABOUT MARY-ELLEN ANDERSON

I love coaching teams to identify needed change, develop new strategies and execute creative solutions that drive incremental growth by altering or improving existing processes and practices. I believe that if you have a growth mindset along with a willingness to learn and work together, anything is possible. It\'s how after working in Forestry for five years my passion for music helped me become a content producer for CBC Radio and Television. It\'s why when digital was emerging, I jumped at the chance to pioneer this new medium as one of the founding members of CBC News Online and inaugural producers at CTVNews.com. It\'s what inspired me to leap from working in media to technology where I regularly exceeded audience and revenue targets leading Microsoft Canada\'s MSN and Developer Experience (DX) teams and was instrumental in building the subsidiary\'s Customer Success Unit. Some career highlights include: • being named Microsoft Canada\'s \"Manager of the Year\" in July 2018 for recruiting and onboarding the Customer Success leadership, Customer Success Manager and Cloud Solution Architect teams; • leading the Developer, Platform and Evangelism (DPE) team to win Top Developed Sub of the Year in July 2013 for driving adoption and usage of Microsoft platforms (Windows, Azure); and • receiving the Bill Gates Chairman\'s Award in July 2011 for leading the launch of MSN English and French portals and exceeding audience/revenue targets. I\'m passionate about developing talented professionals and entrepreneurs and excited to share the breadth of experience and knowledge I\'ve accumulated from personal successes and failures.
