Business and Finance interested me ever since I started reading financial periodicals from fifth grade. Executives implementing different solutions to solve business problems fascinated me the most. Now as a grad student at Cornell’s SC Johnson Business School with the opportunity to live and work in the US, I look forward to exploring the world’s biggest economy as a finance professional. I have honed my skills in this craft thus far as: Propelled the business development efforts as a full time management consultant in KPMG through proposal development and client calls with a meeting conversion rate of 60% and client conversion rate of 25%. Participated in preparing every deliverable in the services offerings list. Aided in the growth of a boutique management consulting firm during my stint as a part time consultant. Created its online presence from scratch and reached over engagements, fostered its employer brand by sponsoring and organizing three business case competitions for university students and was involved in scaling up operations by onboarding 50 new part time personnel consisting of website creators, content writers, graphic designers, and trainee consultants. Also worked as an external consultant for a clothing company during the tenure when its sales increased by Managed the team of contributors for the youth page of the Financial express to improve article variety for students and young professionals. Conducted interviews of executives or entrepreneurs to bring professional industry insights to the target audience. Wrote for other periodicals with a focus on research of the economy and financial markets. Published 37 articles, and recruited and managed a team of 30 contributors. Maintained position as a top 2% in class of Bangladesh’s most competitive business program and achieved 3 country highest awards in the Acca professional examination series. Also obtained two undergrad degrees in four years.
