As a Community Disaster Program Specialist, I support the Red Cross mission by equipping and empowering volunteers to prepare for and respond to local disasters - most often home fires and severe weather events. My role bridges community engagement and volunteer coordination, with a focus on ensuring that disaster services are accessible, culturally responsive, and rapidly delivered when people need them most.
