ABOUT SABBIR-BIN HOSSAIN
As a Research and Development Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz, I am passionate about designing and implementing innovative solutions for digital signal processing for wireless communication and previously on optical communication systems. I have contributed to multiple projects involving high-speed data transmission, modulation formats, and nonlinear equalization, using MATLAB and VPI-OS software tools. I have a strong academic background in electrical engineering and information technology, with a Doctor of Engineering degree from Kiel University and a Master of Science degree in optics and photonics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics. I have also published several papers in prestigious journals and conferences, such as Journal of Lightwave Technology and Optical Fiber Communications Conference. My research interests include advanced DSP algorithms, high speed optical communication, terahertz communication and probabilistic shaping.
