The Tonearm is an online magazine that gives a much-needed voice to genre-defying artists pushing through the pockets of their medium. These artists work in music, visual art, the written word, entrepreneurship in the arts, or however they choose to make the world a more interesting place. Most importantly, our coverage is threaded by an exploration of what it\'s like to create cool things. Since posting the first episode of the Spotlight On podcast in February 2020, our team has hosted hundreds of revealing talks with people doing creative work. Through The Tonearm, we\'ll continue to present an ongoing series of interviews, features, and perspectives from a network of contributors worldwide.The Tonearm believes independent media, artists, and discourse are fundamental to a free society.
