Develop and implement demand plans for a category through analysis and collaboration with consensus group to drive supply and replenishment plans. Responsible for forecasts at multiple levels including SKU, distribution center, and customer facing locations (several hundred to several thousand). • Manage the Supply Planning process for assigned category and represent the function in cross collaborative projects. • Develop and implement the supply plan for the category through analysis and collaboration with the Supply Chain team to support demand, inventory, and replenishment plans while making decisions to align with department Key Performance Indicators. • Work with accounts payable, purchasing, suppliers, accounting, and the distribution center to resolve purchase order, goods receipt, and invoice discrepancies to prevent credit holds and supply disruption. • Responsible for inventory turnover, obsolescence expense, and customer service levels. Using various safety stock strategies, these competing objectives must be appropriately balanced across tens of thousands of SKU-location combinations while making decisions to align with department Key Performance Indicators. • Manage the Replenishment Planning process for assigned category. • Achieve product availability targets at customer facing locations. • Identify, communicate, and resolve discrepancies in the replenishment plan or imbalances to the inventory plan with appropriate and innovative solutions ranging from manual workarounds to system parameter changes. • Create and execute replenishment plans for ad hoc events.
