Building the carbon and climate finance program at EcoSafi, a clean cooking fuel company operating in Kenya and Uganda.We aim to generate the highest-quality, highest-integrity emission reductions in the clean cooking sector. We do this by listening to science, using conservative fNRB factors, calculating carbon based on our sustainable fuel sales (rather than assumptions), assigning each customer an individual baseline, and monitoring and verifying 100% of our customer data with our all-digital MRV platform.Buyers are rewarding this with market-high prices, because they know our carbon delivers low risk and high value. Ratings agencies are recognizing this with market-high ratings, because they know our carbon represents actual reductions achieved in the real world.And we use our carbon to crowd-in private finance to reach more customers and scale quickly. We are a clean cooking company first and foremost - not a carbon company.
