Job Title: Data Analyst (OJT / Intern)Role SummaryThe Data Analyst OJT will work closely with the data team and department heads to collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets. The primary goal is to assist the company in making data-driven decisions. You won\'t just be \"learning\"—you\'ll be applying your technical skills to solve real-world business problems.Key Responsibilities * Data Collection & Mining: Gathering data from primary and secondary sources (SQL databases, CRM, or web scraping).* Data Cleaning (Wrangling): Identifying and fixing errors, duplicates, or missing values to ensure the data is \"healthy\" and accurate.* Statistical Analysis: Using tools to find trends and patterns (e.g, identifying which month has the highest customer churn).* Reporting & Visualization: Creating charts, graphs, and dashboards to present findings to managers who may not be \"tech-savvy.\"* Database Maintenance: Assisting in the organization of company databases to ensure they remain efficient and secure.Required Skills (Technical & Soft)* Spreadsheets: Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, and Complex Formulas).* SQL: Ability to write basic queries to extract data from databases.* Visualization: Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.* Programming : Basic knowledge of Python for data automation.* Critical Thinking: The ability to look at a number and ask \"What does this actually mean for the business?\"
