About Sohail Akhtar
I graduated from Osmania University Hyderabad with a Bachelor\'s degree in finance with distinction. I am currently part of EY GDS performing the role of Business Consultant. Previously i have held positions at Barings Asset Management A Subsidary of Massmutual, performing the role of Cash Forecasting Analyst. Preparing the Cash forecast report for variety of Investment portfolio types including Fixed income high yield, loan, private Assets, Emerging markets Equities and so on for the Portfolio Managers and Admins. Prior to joining Massmutual India I was part of State Street\'s Fund Accounting business, performing the role of Senior Fund Accountant where I was managing various Fund Accounting and Client Operations tasks including cash and Stock Reconciliation, Daily and Monthly closing for General Accounts and Separate Accounts, Researching and reviewing Trades, cash and Corporate actions, Validating daily market movements and unrealised gain/loss of the fund and preparing and reviewing various financial statements like Cash and transactions journals, General ledgers, etc. Thanks
