About Rehan Nasim
With a solid foundation in well operations, reservoir modeling, production optimization & Drilling operation, I am a committed and results-oriented petroleum engineer. Having graduated from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies with a master\'s degree in petroleum engineering, I have practical experience in advanced reservoir modeling and have focused on enhanced oil recovery methods. As an Implementation Executive at MAXIML for BPCL Kochi Refinery, I oversaw real-time monitoring and maintenance for vital refinery units during my career. Before this, I worked for ONGC as a Petroleum Engineer Trainee, actively contributing to increased production efficiencies by integrating plasma pulse technology and using multi-branched stimulation techniques. I have a strong interest in using technology and data analytics to improve operational effectiveness and security. Creating forecasting tools, turning complicated data into meaningful insights, and making sure the highest industry standards are followed are all common tasks in my profession. I\'m always improving my technical abilities outside of work, especially in Power BI, SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, Python and SQL, which I use to add data-driven insights to my projects. I\'m constantly excited to network with business leaders and look for chances to use my experience to creative and significant petroleum engineering projects.

Real-Time Monitoring and Maintenance: Lead the charge in putting into place and overseeing the management of real-time monitoring systems for crucial refinery processes, such as the vacuum gas oil (VGO) units, sulphur recovery units (SRU1 and SRU2), atmospheric residue unit (ARU), and crude distillation unit (CDU).•Project Execution and Oversight: In charge of overseeing the integration of MAXIML\'s technology for shutdown and equipment maintenance. System performance should be tracked and reported on, and timely maintenance should be performed to avoid affecting operations.•Data Analytics and Process Optimization: Improve operational effectiveness amongst various refinery units by employing data analytics.
