ABOUT RASHEDUL HOQUE
I am Rashedul Hoque, currently doing my PhD in Biostatistics at Simon Fraser University. Also, I am affiliated as a Biostatistician (PhD Trainee) at Arthritis Research Canada under the supervision of Professor Hui Xie. I am in study leave from my workplace at ISRT, University of Dhaka. I did my second Masters in Biostatistics specialization at the Department of Statistics, the University of British Columbia. I worked as Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) there. My supervisor was renowned Professor Paul Gustafson. In summer 2017, I worked as a research fellow of very first Data Science for Social Goods Program (DSSG) at Data Science Institute, UBC. That program was funded by Microsoft and MITACS, and I was one of the 16 successful candidates out of nearly 100 applicants.
