Obtained a PhD in Pharm. Sciences, Okayama University, Japan. Currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow (NIH Funded), College of Pharmacy, Mercer University, United States of America. 25 years of teaching and research experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Sciences in academia and the Pharma industry. industry in the United States, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Bangladesh. I am a GCP-Certified Clinical Researcher endorsed by DG Health of Malaysia, and a Registered “A” grade Pharmacist (Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh). Experienced researcher and supervisor of high-impact research projects: Completed 100 research projects on Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences. I have 115 publications (Citations: 5575, H-Index:40, i-10 Index: 76) in reputed journals including Frontiers in Pharmacology (Impact factor: 4.8), Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research (12.8), Food and Chemical Toxicology (3.5), Carbohydrate Polymers (12.5), Biomedicine and Pharmacotherapy (7.5), Current Research in Food Science (7.0), Journal of Functional Foods (4.0) etc. Editorial board member and Editor-in-Chief of 17 journals, including Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), Frontiers in Pharmacology, Frontiers in Medicine, Frontiers in Nutrition, BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapeutics. Obtained Best Researcher award (20••••23), the Best Speaker award (2017), and the Best Poster Presenter award (2014).Research Interest: Discovery and development of therapeutically effective and safe phytopharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals/natural products/functional foods/functional medicines for the prevention and treatment of diabetes, cancer, immune dysfunction, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver, erectile dysfunction, and antimicrobial resistance, etc, avoiding or minimizing the side effects of conventional drugs. Research grants: Obtained several national and international research grants as Principal Investigator. Experiment Techniques: Cell culture, Murine splenocytes and B cell preparation, In-vivo animal models, Western blotting, Flow Cytometry, Fluorescence Microscopy, qPCR, ELISA, ELISPOT, MTT Assay, HPLC, LCMS, TLC, UV spectroscopy.
