ABOUT JAHID HASAN
I am a self-motivated Master\'s student in Mechanical Engineering with a passion for solving complex challenges through hands-on design, simulation, and research. As a collaborative team player with proven experience leading engineering projects from initial concept to final fabrication, I thrive in fast-paced, innovative environments.As a Graduate Research Assistant, my current research focuses on developing a novel acoustic Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system to improve the resiliency of energy structures in harsh environments. My broader research interests include additive manufacturing, advanced materials, nanocomposites, bio-inspired structures, and machine learning.I have extensive experience leading technical projects, from designing a Formula SAE race car to developing robotic grippers and Mars rover components. These projects have given me practical skills across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to fabrication.I am always looking for new research opportunities and collaborations where I can apply my skills to make a meaningful impact.
