Project Description:The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Medicaid program is a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). During my tenure as an automation engineer, I had the privilege of contributing to two significant projects managed by CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), namely the InsureKids.gov and Medicaid.gov applications. These web-based platforms serve as vital resources for individuals and families seeking information and enrollment assistance for healthcare coverage programs, including Medicaid and the Children\'s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).Major Responsibilities-Identified, documented, and automated test scenarios in an agile environment to enhance test efficiency and regression coverage-Engaged in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and testing discussions-Designed and implemented Playwright automation for functional, visual regression, and accessibility testing-Built a Playwright automation framework integrated with CI/CD pipelines-Managed Git repository, branch creation, pull requests, and version control with Git/GitHub-Integrated Playwright scripts into Jenkins for continuous testing-Led automation for report generation, optimizing processes and reducing manual effort-Developed hybrid automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, Maven, JDBC, later transitioning to Playwright-Conducted SQL-based data integrity testing, ensuring frontend-backend consistency-Performed manual functional testing, defect documentation, and collaboration with developers-Used JIRA for agile project management and bug tracking-Mentored junior engineers, conducted code reviews, and optimized automation processes.
