Over 6 years of combined field and research experience in geotechnical and civil engineering, including more than 1 year of professional fieldwork with WSP USA Inc. and over 5 years of academic research in the USA, China, and Bangladesh. Field experience includes drilled shaft installation, micopile installation, driven piles, soil classification using the Modified Burmister, USCS, and AASHTO systems; SPT sampling, Shelby tube and hand auger sampling, and rock core classification. Oversaw drilling operations for borings up to 200 feet deep, enforced site safety protocols, and coordinated with subcontractors to ensure operational compliance. Experienced in in-situ testing (SPT, infiltration, Sonic Drill and CPTu), slug/falling-head tests, and site restoration. Laboratory experience includes triaxial, direct shear, Proctor, Atterberg limits, and grain-size analyses, as well as data review and interpretation of soil and rock testing results. Certified in OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety, with valid MBTA, Keolis, and Mass Coastal Railroad Right-of-Way (RWP) training credentials.
