Cost Accounting - Own certain monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities of the EU segment (IFRS) to ensure correct cost allocations for production, consumption and inventory movements- Gather, summarize and analyze a significant amount of transactional data and make reasonable conclusions to facilitate key accounting and business decisions- Monitor and analyze business trends, preparing reports with business performance metrics to enable decision-making for senior leadership in EU- Own the tracking, analysis, and reporting of EU performance across sales, variable costs, and base costs, across multiple brands, through mid-month and month-end, ensuring timely, and accurate completion of reporting- Conduct comparative analyses versus plan and prior periods to identify trends and explain movements in financial performance- Help prepare monthly and quarterly business analyses for review with the EU leadership team- Work with functions outside of finance (e.g, Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Digital, Customer Communications, People Operations) to identify and realize opportunities to lower costs and increase sales- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects, such as investor presentations and annual audits, as needed- Work on strategic analyses to support and help grow the EU business (i.e, pricing strategies, margin improvement, business cases)
