The deputy flow director assists the flow director – responsible for the launch vehicle readiness process from arrival through launch – in the overall management, planning, integration, and execution of ground and flight hardware processing activities of Orion and Space Launch System (SLS) space flight missions for the Artemis Program. I lead a group of civil servants and a contractor workforce in the planning, integration, and implementation of Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) operational objectives and requirements for the Space Launch System (SLS) Artemis missions.These duties include the ground processing oversight and management of the Test and Operations Support Contract (TOSC) on behalf of EGS Operations and Test Management division (O & TM) with respect to the Integrated and offline activities for the Orion and SLS flight hardware at multiple facilities across the center. As the deputy flow director, I integrate the support from other program representatives from the SLS and Orion programs along with their contractor support to ensure a successful ground processing campaign.I am also responsible for approving all Operations and Maintenance Requirements Specifications (OMRS) and Program Support Requirements (PRDs) related to integrated and offline activities to ensure the program can support the execution of ground system operations based on our existing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) capabilities and approved schedules.
