As CEO of the Navy League of the United States, I am entrusted with the stewardship of a global nonprofit dedicated to advocacy, education, and support for America’s sea services. I execute the organization’s strategic direction, operational performance, and financial health, ensuring alignment with our mission to champion the men and women of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine.I lead and empower a professional staff to support a volunteer network of over members and 176 councils worldwide, fostering collaboration, accountability, and mission focus. My responsibilities include: • Nonprofit Leadership & Governance – Execute organizational strategy, governance modernization, compliance, and alignment with nonprofit best practices. • Advocacy & Outreach – Spearhead initiatives that strengthen national influence in maritime policy, enhance public understanding of sea power, and support service members and their families. • Membership & Council Engagement – Drive membership growth, engagement, and modernization, ensuring councils are resourced and empowered to thrive at the community level. • Financial Stewardship – Accountable for budget oversight, fundraising growth, and sustaining long-term organizational resilience. • Stakeholder Engagement – Build strategic partnerships with government, industry, and allied organizations to advance shared priorities in maritime security and education. • Flagship Programs & Events – Lead delivery of Sea-Air-Space, the largest maritime exposition in the U.S, and other national initiatives that convene military, industry, and policy leaders.Through this work, I remain focused on advancing our mission, expanding our reach, and ensuring the Navy League continues to serve as a trusted voice and enduring partner for America’s sea services.

ABOUT MIKE STEVENS
As a seasoned leader with more than 33 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Navy, I currently serve as the CEO of the Navy League of the United States, a vital civilian organization dedicated to supporting our sea services and their families. I hold a Six Sigma Black Belt certification and have a proven track record in leading and managing complex operations, projects, and teams. In my previous role as the 13th Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy, I had the privilege of being the senior-most enlisted leader and advisor to the Chief of Naval Operations. This experience allowed me to play a pivotal role in shaping Navy culture, policies, and programs to enhance the readiness and welfare of over Sailors and their families. After retiring from active duty, I transitioned into leadership roles at VIQTORY, a military marketing firm, where I served as both COO and CEO. In this capacity, I leveraged my expertise in operational planning and military marketing to bridge the gap between the military community and civilian opportunities. Since joining the Navy League in 2019 as Executive Director and being appointed CEO in 2021, I have concentrated on overseeing our business operations and supporting the strategic direction of the organization. With over 178 councils and members worldwide, our mission is to serve and advocate for our sea services and their families while educating the public and policymakers about the importance and value of our maritime forces.
