I am a second-year Applied Mathematics student at Saddleback College in the Honors-to-Honors program, transferring to UCI in Fall 2026. With a 3.9 GPA and a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and programming, I am pursuing a career in actuarial science and data analytics.My experience spans several roles where I combined quantitative problem-solving with leadership and communication skills:As a Math Tutor, I guide students through trigonometry, calculus, and statistics using inquiry-based (Socratic) methods, helping them build independence and confidence.As a Data Analyst Intern at the Santa Ana Public Library, I tracked program spending, analyzed outreach data, and produced reports that informed decision-making.As a Volunteer Team Lead, I coordinated 500+ volunteers for city-wide events, overseeing scheduling, communication, and group management.I enjoy applying data-driven insights to real-world challenges, whether that means analyzing trends, improving processes, or helping others understand complex concepts. Currently, I am studying for Actuarial Exam P and seeking opportunities to further develop my skills in risk analysis, statistics, and financial modeling.
