Acted as the first point of contact (Student Adviser) for pastoral support to a cohort of approximately 140 PGR students, providing specialised advice and guidance to both students and academic staff within university policy and guidelines.• Supported the PGR student community to help them engage with the university, to feel part of a community, and access the development opportunities available within the school and their programme.• Responsible for making final decisions on all PGR applications using professional judgement in interpreting university and school admissions policies and processes.• Supported PGR course and programme curriculum administration, guiding the PGR Course Secretaries through the academic cycle. This included timetabling, course selection processes, attendance monitoring, assessment and feedback, and support to the Board of Examiners for course and award ratification.• Acted as budget approval holder for the allocation of funds to PGR student development opportunities such as conferences, subscriptions, and membership fees.• Helped facilitate and manage the logistical challenges of moving all Business School PGR students into a new study space.• Managed and supported two team members as their line manager, conducting regular wellbeing check-ins and providing guidance on professional development.• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 software as well as university systems such as Euclid & Power Bi.
