ABOUT JONATHAN MCNULTY

For over a decade, I served on the frontline of a blue light service. Despite the fulfilment of helping people when they needed it most, it required immense personal sacrifices, including countless missed special occasions with loved ones. The relentless pressures, regular exposure to trauma, and intense stress began to weigh heavily on me, both mentally and physically, leading to burnout. This challenging period underscored the need to prioritise my physical and mental wellbeing. I recognised the importance of disconnecting and taking regular breaks to make lasting memories with loved ones. Motivated by my journey and background in holiday property management, I founded Blue Light Escapes, an independent online travel agency dedicated to crafting unique getaways in collaboration with property partners with like-minded values for the blue light community. I’m committed to positively impacting the wellbeing of those who serve tirelessly on the frontline, saving lives and protecting us from harm and championing the benefits of travel and the importance of a healthy work-life balance.
