About McKenzie B.

I am a marketing professional with 8 years of experience in email marketing, campaign management, event planning, and social media. I graduated from the University of Dayton with degrees in Marketing and International Business Management with a focus in Global Markets. In 2021, I published my first novel, a dark fantasy story titled From the Shadows. While only a hobby, being a fiction novelist has given me experience in areas such as copyediting, proofreading, grammar, and creative and technical writing. I have since published 7 additional novels, 1 novella, and have had two short stories selected by independent publishers for publication in anthologies. While at the University of Dayton, I was voted the President of the Campus Concert Committee. I helped organize a merger with the Campus Activities Board, which I was voted President of the following year. Both organizations gave me great experience in event planning where I worked with sub-committees to organize everything from small-scale craft nights to off-campus excursions to medium-scale concerts featuring acts such as ACMA-winning country artist Russell Dickerson. My experiences at CFE Media and Technology and WTWH Media have since expanded my event planning experience to include various awards ceremonies and dinners, conferences, and educational seminars.
