ABOUT MCKENZIE MULLIGAN

Recent Florida State University graduate, Magna Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Political Science and International Affairs, a concentration in Public Administration, and a minor in Communications. I’m passionate about global engagement, public service, and cross-cultural learning.During my time at FSU, I earned a Certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security as well as TEFL certification, preparing me for work at the intersection of education, international affairs, and community resilience. I was proud to serve on the Alumni Relations Committee for the Women\'s Leadership Network in the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy, where I fostered connections between students and alumni to support professional growth and leadership. While at FSU, I balanced a rigorous academic schedule with part-time work at the FSU Bookstore, gaining valuable experience in customer service, time management, and teamwork. My academic journey also took me abroad to London, where I studied with FSU’s International Programs, gaining firsthand insight into global governance and cultural exchange. I’m now continuing that journey by teaching English in Madrid, Spain through CIEE during my gap year — an opportunity that allows me to build intercultural communication skills and give back through education.I’m always looking to connect with professionals in education, international development, public policy, and communication.
