About McKenna Milton
Originally from Littleton, CO, I moved to the Pacific Northwest and graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Business Leadership and a minor in Spanish. I am currently pursuing a legal career and am a third year law student at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. This past summer, I rejoined Connelly Law Offices. I deeply enjoyed my involvement in various personal injury cases at the firm, and I continue to be passionate about civil rights and plaintiff litigation. I also assisted an attorney on pro bono asylum cases at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma. I was fortunate to learn about and navigate the vast world of Immigration Law as we helped detainees obtain asylum in the U.S. During the summer of ‘22, I interned with the Colorado Lawyers Committee and enjoyed my time working with over 80 law firms in the Denver area on various public interest projects. Last spring, I had the pleasure of interning with the Honorable Justice Melissa Hart at the Colorado Supreme Court. This year, I am involved in the Civil Rights Clinic as a student attorney.I thrive in environments where I am constantly surrounded by activity. Playing the viola in a collegiate-level symphony orchestra helped me share my passion for music, and remains one of the most fundamental \"teamwork\" aspects in my life. I was involved in the Ultimate Frisbee community and attended Nationals three times with my women\'s team, Clearcut. I had the pleasure of being one of two captains for our team. Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women deeply rooted my passion for supporting strong women in our communities. I love traveling and hope to continue crossing off countries on the \"bucket list\" of places I have yet to visit. Traveling has widened my perspective on people and cultures, and has made me realize the importance in building relationships and getting to know people\'s life stories. I am interested in venturing toward a career path that allows for long-term, mutually beneficial relationships to develop in an innovative organization, and I hope to get to learn more of these life stories. I look forward to connecting with you!email: m••••••••@gmail.comphone:(72••••••76
