Responsible for planning and administering treatments for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. Assists in helping patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. Collaboratively works with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for patients. Integrates therapy that combines clinical psychology and functional mobility in various departments throughout the hospital including inpatient acute, ICU, oncology, cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, emergency and trauma care.
