About McKenna Clary
I am a fourth-year Biological Engineering student at the University of Georgia with a passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and manufacturing. My academic background and hands-on research experience have shaped my interest in the development and optimization of medical and industrial technologies. Currently, I am a Production Process Improvement Intern at Alcon, where I analyze manufacturing data, implement process improvements, and help standardize key production workflows through training development and execution. This role has strengthened my skills in operations, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated manufacturing environment. I am actively seeking full-time opportunities in production or process engineering, manufacturing optimization, or medical device R&D once I graduate in May 2026. I am driven to contribute meaningfully to innovative teams and continue growing as a leader and engineer in the biotechnology or medical technology space. I strive to develop my leadership and interpersonal skills through my involvement in Theta Tau Professional Engineering Fraternity, College of Engineering Student Ambassadors, and Leadership UGA. I look forward to connecting!
