About McKenna Campsey

I am a senior mechanical engineering student at the University of Houston, expected to graduate in May 2024 with a math minor. I have completed multiple courses and projects in design, materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics, among others. I have also gained hands-on experience as an intern at Webber, where I worked on the Artesia project, a large water treatment plant in Texas. There, I assisted the project manager and engineers with various tasks, such as drafting, scheduling, estimating, and quality control. I am proficient in AutoCAD, Matlab, and Microsoft Excel and have experience in C++, COMSOL, JAVA, and Bluebeam. I have received several honors, such as the Outstanding First Year Student Award and the Engineer with SPIRIT Award. My goal is to pursue a career in engineering that combines my technical skills, creativity, and leadership abilities.As an ambassador at UH Cullen College of Engineering, I represent and promote the college to prospective students, alumni, and industry partners. I also organize and participate in various events and activities that showcase the college\'s programs, facilities, and achievements. I enjoy this role because it allows me to connect with diverse and talented people, share my passion for engineering, and contribute to the college\'s growth and reputation.
