Manage the operations of the Training & Organization Development unit serving staff members across 5 facilities; develop and deliver professional development and compliance trainings to all staff, i.e. communication skills and annual mandates• Member of the Employee Engagement Committee which serves as change agents and coordinate engagement events.• Lead and manage various programs such as the Manager/Leader Development Program, which is initiative of organization’s strategic plan. Outcome: participants completed Personal Development Plans to assist them in development and career paths. Resources and informal coaching sessions were provided. Participants rated 3-day program 4.7/5. • Deliver a team based training called Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety to 30-90 new staff members on a monthly basis for 3 hours.• Deliver a strategic manager course on a monthly bases to 6-10 new managers/supervisors for 6 hours. • Partner with departments to develop customer service based tailored training programs in alignment with the organizations vision. • Build relationships by partnering with SMEs to design various training courses.• Teach facilitation techniques to clients and co facilitate various training.• Organize, manage and facilitate hospital-wide orientation to all staff on a monthly basis to staff members.(i.e general staff, physicians, vendors, temps, volunteers ranging at various levels) for 2 days which involves a full program of various SMEs presentations ranging from HIPAA, Corporate Compliance, Patient Safety, Patient Rights and more. Attendees of monthly new- hire orientation, which numbered between 25-100 staff members, rated 2-day orientation 4.8/5.• Strategically manage the scheduling of the yearly training calendar to ensure productive scheduling and eliminate wasteful scheduling. • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams for successful training delivery.
