About Michael Cheek

Based out of New York with 20 year experience serving tier 1 capital markets clients across the sell and buy side spanning across operations, regulatory change, post-merger integration, trading systems, wealth platform conversion, client onboarding and OTC clearing.Consulting in capital markets has been a thrilling and exciting challenge as I get to work with high caliber of clients and colleagues, as well as the constant breadth of interesting projects, opportunities and locations over the years including London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York. I am passionate about helping my clients succeed in delivering value to their shareholders, bring innovation to help differentiate them against their competition, but I am also extremely passionate about develop the careers of the people I work with.On a personal note, I was born and raised in the UK with proud Asian roots. I have lived and worked in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong, but have been based in New York with my wife Susanna and two young children, Hunter and Keira.I studied Computer Science at the University of Nottingham and is a certified Java developer. Outside of work, he enjoys taking his car out on track days, snowboarding, cooking (and eating!) and spending time with my family.
