About Kevin McGurn

Senior Communication Design major in Syracuse University\'s school of Visual and Performing Arts focused on sports imagery, art direction and branding. Since May of 2023, I’ve worked as a digital media intern for the Syracuse University Football team. In the role I’ve assisted in the growth of the team’s brand and recruiting efforts behind head coach Fran Brown. While in the role, I’ve also contributed to photography for the team through coverage of their games, official visits and more. In early fall of 2024, I was brought in as a Brand Manager for Corning Community College Men’s Basketball team. In the role, I’ve led a team in building their visual identity from scratch, influenced by the city of Corning/Elmira, and their mascot: The Red Barons. In the summer of 2024, I worked as the creative director for “Salt City Pro Am.” A summer basketball league held in Syracuse, NY, highlighting former pro and current college basketball players in collaboration with the NCAA. While working with the league, I was responsible for all visual and creative development of the team’s web and media presence. During winter of 2023 into 2024, I worked as a brand manager for SUNY Morrisville’s men’s basketball team. While working with the Mustangs, I collaborated with their coaches and student athletes to build a unique and recognizable brand that represented the school through photography, design and motion graphics. In the summer of 2021, I was hired as a Recruitment Design Intern with the U.S Air Force Academy\'s Football team, in which I created graphics in attempts to persuade high school recruits to Commit and play for the Air Force Falcons.Over the years, I\'ve also had experience with freelance photography and design on a local scale, covering minor league professional baseball, NCAA Division Two football, and Division Three lacrosse in south-central Pennsylvania, along with some rugby, hockey and concerts.

   Recruited to establish and lead TRICON Garage’s first-ever graphic design internship through the Toyota Racing Development pipeline, collaborating with TRICON, Sam Hunt Racing, and 23XI Racing.Design high-impact visual content for web, social, and print, ensuring consistent brand execution across the NASCAR Truck, Xfinity, and Cup Series.Support creative initiatives for teams, drivers, and sponsors by delivering innovative design solutions and art direction that enhance fan engagement and partner visibility.
