As a Hands-on Technical Architect, I define and implement solutions that form part of a multi-tenant SaaS platform. To ensure the successful implementation of solutions by agile scrum teams, I set the direction for the development of new solutions and enhancements to legacy systems by taking responsibility for: • Developing full-stack proofs-of-concept to establish software patterns. • Mentoring and pairing with Developers to spread good practice and knowledge. • Creating a well-estimated and achievable backlog of user stories by working with agile scrum development teams, Product Owners and Product Managers. • Researching, evaluating and selecting new technologies. • Ensuring easy adoption of new technologies, and industry best practice and approaches. • Ensuring that solutions are scalable, reliable, monitorable and maintainable within our 24/7 service to our customers. • Communicate complex functional and non-functional requirements to Architects, Developers, DevOps, CloudOps, Product Owners and Manager. • Document solutions at a high-level using a C4 model and UML and/or BPMN at a low-level.
