We use machine learning to create safe, privacy first shopping and AI experiences for Firefox and other browser users. My role is to lead the engineering team building browser extensions, highly scalable web services and finding real world applications for AI using large language models, classification models and more.Some of the fascinating products we have built include:• Trusted Deals - a privacy first advertising platform that serves trustworthy products• Orbit - a privacy first AI agent browser extension• Deep Fake Detector - an AI generated content detector extension• Fakespot Shopping - a high performance data mining, aggregation and analysis system that leverages machine learning and supports over 1 million weekly active users• Firefox URL Bar shopping integration - a client side, privacy first recommendation engine• Firefox New Tab Shopping - a guide for trustworthy shopping• Firefox Review Checker - a product review analyzer
