In this role, I am responsible for overseeing all aspects related to IT and operations project selection, planning, design, and implementation. I spearhead the global IT operations department with staff in Florida, Virginia, Texas, Vancouver, London, India, and the Philippines. Moreover, I administer the business intelligence department and manage seamless integration development and administration of Salesforce.com, Great Plains, and product entitlements.My key achievements in this role have been:• Spearheaded design, planning, and implementation of a global cloud transformation project to migrate nine data centers and associated workloads to AWS, GCP, and Azure.• Developed and expanded IT and DevOps teams into a global powerhouse; led 10 data centers and nearly 8K servers and VMs.• Steered consolidation of all Salesforce.com instances and purchase path automation to allow for global visibility to the sales funnel and increase customer retention.• Revamped infrastructure that saved the company $1.4M per year in OPEX, boosted capacity by 68%, increased performance by 480%, and reduced data center footprint by 75%.• Directed robust DevOps infrastructure and oversaw 6M customer endpoints through 220 physical servers and 1,297 virtual machines, incorporating Hadoop, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and Docker.• Maintained accountability for on-premise IT infrastructure, managing 80 physical servers and hosting 953 virtual machines.• Streamlined migration of 500+ email accounts from on-premise Exchange to GSuite.
