About Marie Claire Hernandez
I am a graduate of the Master of Science in Taxation program at California State University, Fullerton. I have successfully passed all four CPA exams and will be working toward CPA licensure. I am excited to be joining Deloitte’s tax practice and look forward to developing my technical skills and hope to deepen my understanding of federal and state tax law, tax research, and compliance across various entity types.I am passionate about community service and taxation and have gained extensive experience in individual tax through the VITA program, where I served as a site coordinator and advanced/international tax preparer. In this role, I managed site operations, trained volunteers, and assisted clients with diverse filing situations, ensuring they received accurate returns and were better prepared for future tax years.
