Design of water management structures such as ponds, spillways, and ditches from feasibility design to IFC utilization- Generated surface water runoff models to effectively determine site water volumes during weather events- Full project life cycle design support from pre feasibility studies to passive care closure phases- Design of water management structures for a filtered tailings facility which included; contact and non-contact drainage channels, permanent and temporary ditches and pumping sumps, and operational and emergency spillways- Development of proposals and cost estimates for clients - Frequency analysis to compile rainfall data and create intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) curves to be used in design and size water management structures- Use of software such as ArcGIS, Global Mapper, HEC-HMS, and HEC-RAS 2D to compete full analysis design of project sites from catchment delineation to flood mapping- Proactively interacted with site engineers and stakeholders to discuss ideologies and optimize processes- Provide on-site QA and QC support during construction to ensure the design and design intent requirements are being met- Responsible for writing documents including, but not limited to; design reports, operational maintenance and surveillance manuals, construction and environmental management programs, and construction technical specifications- Design of water supplementation pipelines and supporting infrastructure such as roads, ditches and culverts to provide allowable water quality to near by watersheds.
