WHAT I AM DOING. Joined the team to complete late corporate initiatives for secret remediation and source code repository migration to BitBucket with team of 6 software engineers. Project completed in 3 months, and cemented my role as a technical project leader for new assignments. Selected accomplishments. Consolidated over 65 separate SQL Server installations into 2 SQL Servers and saved Cboe $1M by moving away from separate stand-alone SQL Server installations per client to hosting clients per instance on a single SQL Server. Delivered new architecture in 2 data centers (Chicago, New York). Drove program to migrate ownership of FIX Message sessions and supporting infrastructure to different Cboe team. The program contained over 30 mini projects. Each project involves communication and coordination with distinct 3rd party FIX clearinghouses sending in trade transactions on behalf of FT Options clients. Led critical compliance project to move passwords from source code to configuration files. Effort completed in approximately 6 weeks with updates to over 950 C# files. Led compliance project to migrate source code from Subversion to BitBucket. Project included 50 Visual Studio solutions which collectively include 750 Visual Studio projects. Effort completed in approximately 2 months. Led project to activate ongoing log capture into Grafana Loki using Grafana Alloy. Optimized existing alerts and recreated in Grafana Alert Manager which route to MS Teams. Collaborated with developers, and site reliability engineer for log capture, log file review, and alert review. Engaged the development team to use Jira in support of the Kanban methodology, after optimizing Jira team workflows and demonstrating application benefits to the team. Shares staffing and project recommendations with Cboe senior leadership.
