Over 35 years in the construction industry Project Controls and Planning field. Currently Principal Consultant with a Project Management Consulting Group. Prior assignment was that of Director of Planning/General Manager of the Scheduling Department for a large industrial contractor concentrated on gas fired power plants, steel making, and environmental controls. Duties include implementation of Primavera enterprise solution, and standards for planning operations. Past experiences as Project Manager and Project Engineer/Scheduler in the pharmaceutical, semi-conductor manufacturing and life sciences segment. other past Project experiences included gas and coal fired power plants, industrial facilities construction and maintenance, and new construction of Bio-pharmaceutical plants. In addition, managed and directed tool relocation\'s, tool installations, and decommissioning of tools and facilities for IBM. Project Management skills include subcontracting, estimating, and extensive experience in scheduling, planning and project controls. Additional project experiences include, water and waste water treatment facilities, general building construction, highways and bridges, chemical and industrial plants, correctional facilities, schools, and hospitals. A retired member of the armed forces with over 30 years of service, and a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving with the Infantry as Platoon Sergeant. Instructor Certified by the US Army. Held past Certifications with the NCCER for Core program in Carpentry, and Construction Laborer, and a former instructor for the AGC’s STP training programs and other trade classes. Conducted classroom training in scheduling for 3 employers and have an Oracle certification as a EPPM software instructor. Experienced business owner for 4 years as an Amerispec Home Inspection Services franchisee.Specialties: Construction Project Controls and CPM methods. Oracle Primavera P6 and Primavera Cloud implementations Specialist and trainer.
