About Michael Belmear
I’m a Software Engineer with dual degrees in Computer Science and Business Finance, graduating with highest honors from Montana State University. I build full-stack applications in TypeScript/React and work on backend systems that solve real problems for real people. I care deeply about code quality, clarity, and purpose.But tech is only part of my story. I think long-term — about systems, impact, leadership, and legacy. Whether I’m writing REST APIs, reading great stories, or studying theology and design patterns, I believe growth must be holistic: intellectual, spiritual, physical, and moral.My journey hasn’t been linear. I’ve battled injuries, insecurity, and addiction — but each hardship has shaped the man I’m becoming. I’m passionate about leadership that is principled, about ambition that is anchored, and about building things — whether software or systems — that actually make people’s lives better.Currently based in Bozeman, Montana, I’m investing in deep roots before wide reach. Long-term, I plan to pursue further graduate study, continued software leadership, and eventually, servant-minded influence in fields beyond tech.
