Responsible for rota management when required. This includes managing shifts and allocating key workers to residents in order to ensure the effective delivery of service.Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medication in line with individual care plans and company policy. This ensures that the client is taken care of and it reduces client sickness by at least 25%. Responsible for managing and maintaining effective relationships by liaising with external health professionals, relatives and friends and this is done via consistent communication channels. Responsible for ordering of medications and clinical equipment in order to meet clients’ personal care needs as advised by external healthcare professionals. Carry out risk assessments and ensure that they are adaptable to the particular client and make amendments where necessary. Ensure quality and person-centred care services are delivered to residents in line with policies and procedures. Support healthcare professionals in the delivery of clinical care for residents. Assist with the recruitment, performance management and development of quality staff to ensure that the required skilled staff are available to meet the needs of the service. This is completed by quarterly supervisions and this contributes to the retention of staff. Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the company’s values and objectives.
